Onenight,TigerWing,thebraveandfiercetiger,waswanderingintheforest,seekingforadventure.Suddenly,heheardafaintsnoringsoundfromanearbybush.Curious,heapproachedthesourceandfoundagroupofsheepsleepingsoundlyunderthemoonlight.Amongthem,therewasalittlesheepwithanadorableroundfaceandsoftcreamyfur.TigerWingcouldn'tresisttheurgetogetcloserandtakealook.Asheapproached,herealizedthatthelittlesheepwasshiveringinitssleep,anditsbreathwasshortandrapid.Concerned,TigerWingdecidedtostayandwatchoverthesheeptomakesureitwassafethroughthenight.

Asthenightgrewdeeper,TigerWing'seyesbegantofeelheavy.Nevertheless,herefusedtoclosethemandstoodguard,castingawatchfuleyeonthesleepingsheep.Sometimes,hewouldsoftlypatthelittlesheep'sbacktowarmitupandcomfortitinitsdreams.Othertimes,hewouldletoutalowgrowltoscareawayanypotentialpredatorsthatdaredtocomenear.Inthisway,thenightpassedby,andwhenthesunrose,TigerWingstillstoodtallandawake,proudofhisdutyaccomplished.

Thelittlesheepwokeuptothesightofagianttigerstandingnexttoit.Atfirst,itwasscaredandtriedtorunaway,butthenitrememberedthatthetigerhadspentthenightwatchingoverit.Feelinggrateful,itapproachedTigerWingandnuzzleditsheadagainsthischestasasignofaffection.ToTigerWing'ssurprise,hefoundthatthelittlesheep'swoolwasreallysoftandfluffy,andthatitsgentlecompanyhadmadethenightmuchmoreenjoyable.Fromthatdayon,TigerWingandthesleepysheepbecameinseparablefriends.Theywouldoftenmeetbytheriverandplaytogether,ortheywouldrestundertheshadowofatree,sharingstoriesoftheiradventuresanddreams.Noonecouldhavepredictedsuchafriendshipbetweenapredatorandaprey,butasmanythingsinlife,themostbeautifulbondsaretheonesthatcansurpriseusthemost.
