Four-Level Score Distribution
Background
English is an important subject in universities and colleges in China. English proficiency is an important criterion for measuring the quality of college students, and the English level of college students is an important reflection of the overall quality of higher education in China. The College English Test (CET) is widely used to evaluate the English proficiency of college students. CET-4 is an important part of CET, which mainly evaluates the students' abilities in listening, reading, writing, and translating English.
Distribution of Score
The CET-4 is scored out of a total of 710 points, with 425 points being the passing score. The score distribution is as follows:
